the smaller pipe has a higher pressure rating because the sidewalls are thicker in comparison to the inside diameter or the volume of the pipe

i have sch 80 3/4 inch cpvc thats rated to 800 psi
That site is totaly wrong dude the sch 40 1/2 inch pvc is rated to 600 psi working pressure and 2 inch sch 40 is rated to
