So I want to make a bigger gun than the one I have currently. I want to use a 5(or 6) foot 2 inch barrel with a 3 foot 4 inch barrel. I'm not sure if it will work out. I know there is a certain ratio but I don't know what it is. It will be a combustion.

Chamber Volume 1.5X Barrel Volume. Make sense in your next post.

Alright, so my idea doesn't work with that ratio. I really don't feel like figuring it out if I don't have to. Has anyone built a big ass potato gun using a 4 inch chamber and a 2 inch barrel?

The volume of a cylinder:

Image

Where pi is 3.1415926535897932384626433832795
r is half the pipes inner diameter
h is the length of the pipe

To calculate your C:B ratio, divide your chamber's volume to your barrel's.

Well, if you want something bigger just scale it up! Multiply the barrel length and chamber length by 2 (Or a number of your choosing)!

hmm, i havn't fired my newest cannon i built over break yet.. but would the ratio for this particular cannon be a 4 to 1 ratio?

i have a 4' 2" barrel that is brought down to 2 16inch long 4inch blast chambers with cleanout endcaps. i rigged a stun gun ignition up to it and the sparks are working quite well. the problem is that i am unsure if the chambers will hold. do you have any advice for this?

Bringing a post back from the dead, get over it. If I am reading right, you have two chambers? Can you or someone explain how this is built?

Out of PVC. I understand I am being a smart ass. Get over it. :P

You use elbows and a tee to get the chambers to the barrel.
