Waterballoon "mortar"
Hello everyone. I wanted to make a waterballoon mortar that is not too huge, and that could send a waterballoon a fair distance. Also, i would like it to be fairly simple to make. If you have any plans/ideas for me, its greatly appreciated. P.S. which would be better, pneumatic or combustion? Thanks

well i am making a mortar too (in the designing phase) for a marble or aa battery. Basically my design is pictured below for pneumatic. Combustion would be too much heat for a WB.
basically drop in the battery and keep ur hand back

As long as there is a sabot, you do not have to worry (too much). I've shot five at a time in my 1.5". I run it about 80 psi and have only had a few beaks.

im not too sure as i have never made a burst disk gun. But burst disks are generally the 'instant' openers of the valve world so it all comes down to what psi you put in it. Just make sure you put double what is in between the burst disks in the chamber. You should be able to get decentish power for what you need, its not like your going for distance or anything.
