Ok here's an idea I came up with recently. The plan was to have a diaphragm enclosed in a tee so you could simply screw in a barrel and an air chamber. It's more simple than those supah valves but not as fast. If you can figure out how it works I would appreciate any suggestions.

the small pipe thats light blue should be the input so the piolet is in the middle.
otherwise you would have to make a pin hole in the sideof the diaphram to allow the diaphram to presssurize.

It's been done. You have the same idea as this guy. The Big Valve. You just added the interchangable part.

Cool! Great minds think alike I guess. Do you know if it worked for that guy?

Here's a start:

(Nothing's glued yet and it's just the tee, cleanouts and bushing. No diaphragm or inner pipe yet.)

Make sure you'll be able to fit the elbow in there before you gloue anything.

The tee is 2" and the inner pipe will either be 3/4 or 1 inch. I plan on using a fixed diaphragm made from a rubber pipe cap.
