Does anyone have any good ideas for generating hop-up?

Yeah, get someone to hop on your head until you realize how to use the search bar/spudwiki.

off the top of my head, less bends in your over all design, quicker release valves, smoother bores in the barrel, position your pressure/air inlet port directly in front of the ammo chamber, be carefull there because putting the ammo in to the air/pressure inlet port can cause bursting/back fireing meaning backwards direction of the ammo launch, also if you can angle the port in the exiting direction of the barrel, 45 degress, drill jigs can be found in any hardware store about 15 bucks or so, this tip reduces the drag of air exiting the barrel, chanfer the port intering the barrel, so the ammo dont drag across the port hole, thats about it off the top of my head, good luck, keep us posted.

You can use better vavles, piston vavles, longer barrels, higher PSI(only go oup to 100PSI)You can put more vavles per tank, modify sprinkler vavles, etc, there are some many different things you can do, it is all up to your imagation and you wallet

jrrdw said about the valves, also you can go over 100 psi safely.
