Is cellular core safe for combustions I don't remember? If it's not is cellular core PVC safe if it's completely covered by connectors? My parents screwed up a plumbing project and I now have a buch of 3" Parts with Cellular core PVC guled into them. I was gonna cover the exposed cellular and then attach rated pipe from that point on so I can still use it.

I just realised that it's Sch 40. Ignore my question I figured it out.

Most cellular core is sch 40. Sch 40 is mearly a wall thickness, it means nothing as far as pressure rating goes.

As far as it being "safe" for a combustion, although it most likely won't blow up, that's true for a pneumatic operating at 100 psi too.
I wouldn't use it in a combustion... it's not worth the risk.

Im not saying it's safe or to use it, but i've never had a problem. I used Cell core on several of my past combustions, never a problem. As I have also said: I took an old gun and literally beat the chamber against a dumpster's corner. The barell and reducer came off cause the glue broke, but the chamber was fine. The only way it finally broke was the end plug cracked up and the chamber followed suit.

I've used Cell Core with Hairspray, Right Guard, and Propane. My new gun "Project Black" has a cell core chamber. It's not worth the risk yes, but I've never had a problem.

As I said, im not saying it's okay, so I don;t want to be held responsible for anything. Just saying my past experience. Just don;t use it for a Pneumatic no matter what.

I'm probably not going to use it for a cannon. because it has a few twists and turns glued together and they sit flush with each other. I might use it for an ammo case or something. I noticed today that propane tanks do fit perfectly in 3".
