I still thionk it wont create any more pressure than normal fuels but it would most likely corrode the pvc.
You are right for car starter fluid
It is not safe for pvc

Alright thanks for the reviews...I cleaned, primed, and EXTRA glued everything together today! Letting it set up till tommorow at 5 then give it a whirl!

Yes, yes I would. If there is a safety rating of 220psi on it, then it's definitely good to 220psi, why would they put a safety rating on it that was bollocks. Not to mention safety factors.

@MaxuS: The pressure rating talks about a static load, not a shock one.
The barrel undergoes shock loading when fired, and should you drop the cannon, that adds load too.
The rating was not in anyway formulated for the kind of use we put this pipe to (in fact, there is little more we could do to further separate our use from what the rating means), so I'd be more wary.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?
