Can i use a cleanout cap for venting propane in a 4inch? I was gonna buy the ball valve until i saw that a 2 inch ball valve is like 12 dollars.... So can i just use a cleanout cap and put in a little extra effort?

You must mean spent combustion fumes right? Not propane, right? Well if I understand your correctly, the answer is simply answered yes. A cleanout cap is still one of the best idears' for venting after you consider work/money.

Im not sure exactly what you mean agian. I dont know if you mean to install in the cleanout, or just in the configuration. You want the fan in the gun so you can use it to exhaust the fumes. Second postion it at the rear of the chamber so the fan wont be as affected by the flame front. (By the cleanout)
