is anyone familiar with rainbird sprinkler valves?? because thats all my hardware stores have and i was wondering if it has to be modded differently because of the little black thing on the top, not the solinoid though, the other black thing. do i have to just drill on the side or can i jsut mod it like a normal one?? and when buying a sprinkler valve do i want a automatic in-line valve??

Rainbirds are fine. If theres a thing on top, drill in the side. Just buy a regular sprinkler valve...

no, becaue the solinoid doesnt open like a blowgun it lifts to let air out of already made holes

u can just fill the little hole the solinoid is covering, but if ur using apoxy its just easier to fill the whole thing. but make sure u take the face off the valve so once u start filling the hole the appoxy doesnt leak onto the phram
i got connections with the modfia, watch who ur talkin to noob.
