I don't think this would make it to spudding... Pure carbon tubes are very sensitive, when you smack it you will make a dent in it and the fibres will then continue to rip. That's why most of the time they wrap the fibers around an aluminum core. How are you going to connect this tube to other tubes, and it's way too pricey :)

I have to admit, it would make a great barrel and would be strong and really light, but dude thats uber expensive. For the price of the barrel I could get material for a nearly complete aluminum cannon.

yea the only thing you'd be getting out of it is it's really light. it really wouldnt even be worth the price

I've already built an aluminum cannon :lol: and it's way heavier than I expected. When I posted this, they had a short stick of woven 2.5" ID in the remnant section for about $130.

It'd be nice to get some 4" pvc wrapped in that stuff for some high pressure large bore chambers... :twisted:
