Oh I was under the impression they would be fuel valves only and you'd still have a ball valve after the fuel meter to vent in to the chamber. I have 3 ball valves on my hybrid, one for MAPP, air and then chamber.

I was thinking a metering fuel pipe connected directly to the propane or mapp torch nozzle (pin-hole intact),no valve.MrC. wrote:Oh I was under the impression they would be fuel valves only and you'd still have a ball valve after the fuel meter to vent in to the chamber. Venting in would be blow nozzle with a check valve.
The pressurized air entering through a (edit:different) blow nozzle with check valve,
Pressure switch in chamber connected to spark.
(It's for a mini, pistol sized, been daydreaming about since I saw a cool little brass chamber)...It would probably fuel too slowly though(?)
By flowing through a check-valve (one-directional), as soon as the pressure increases it is closed and sealed off, inonickname wrote:...If the pressure from the outside gets to high the valve will open, which is why they can't be used in this application.
So it should have less pressure on the blow nozzle valve than the ball valve anyway.
Now I probably have gone off-topic and it's a late night thought... 8)
