Burst Disks!!!

ok so there has got to be an easier way to create the burst disks... taking off the barrel and putting tape on the putting it back on.... firing... the having to take the barrel off again and remove the excesse tape... and retaping it... ne ideas for a simpler way... this is mine but i dont exactly know what to make the rings from that you tape over...Image

my idea is way better though lol...it cost less and the couplings are too hard to find in my area... i just have to figure my idea out though

ok! so i just used my idea... for 1 1/2" female adapter i cut 1 1/4" schedule 40 tubing into about 2/8" thick rings... this left a little room for tape to be added but still fit somewhat snug... after you add the tape just screw the barrel on and your ready... this is convienient because after the shot has been fired you just unscrew the barrel and replace the ring/burst disks...i myself make mine ahead of time so i dont have to keep taping rings.... then i just carry the disks around with me... and my next idea is a holder for the rings... yay! to me...

yeah... just as long as you make shure the tape is nice and secure and covers the whole ring...
