It is a two way. One is a central and the other two are for either direction of the switch. A, B, and C. B is the common. When the switch is up B and A are connected. when down B and C are connected.

Yes, you can.
It's the piss easy way to use a 2 way as an on-off.

Novacastrian: How about use whatever the heck you can get your hands on?
frankrede: Well then I guess it won't matter when you decide to drink bleach because your out of kool-aid.
...I'm sorry, but that made my year.

Get two wires.
Attach one wire to the middle, attach one wire to one of the outer pins.
When the toggle is flipped towards the side thats connected it'll be on, when its to the other side it'll be off.
Leave the last pin empty or cut it off or bend it to the side or whatever

forget that switch. get a regular toggle switch, then go to an auto parts store (a Murray's, I there is one near you), and get a toggle guard. That's what I did. you just have to slip it on, then screw the nut down on top of it.

That is not a 2 way switch. It's an LED lit switch. Basically you connect your red to one terminal, the black to another, and the last one leads off to your stun gun or another button. All of the terminals are labeled on it and it also includes a diagram on the package it comes in.
But I hate those switches. They work fine; it's not that. I just think they are too much to bother with. I like a good old on/off switch and a momentary button.
It's all about preference though. Whatever you do, don't use that switch as your trigger. Make sure it leads off to a momentary button.
Also, don't use 9v batteries in your box. Use 8 AA or AAA batteries. You will never have to deal with a stun gun dying after a short time like with 9vs.

Its lit by an LED?
Haha thats awesome.
And yes that wouldnt be my trigger, I'll have an plain momentary push-button one.
So 9v's die quick?
Good.
So I'll get a battery holder for 6aa's.

Use 8 AA batteries to give yourself 12 volts. Stun guns work better on 12 anyway and the LEDs and fan (if you have one) will work better.
