an automatic spud gun?
Judging by the way you spell you must be some kind of expert in pneumatic weaponry.
Pray tell, how do you plan an accomplishing such a lofty goal?

And yes, let’s get back on subject.
Why, what’s wrong with a Tippman 98c? The one I’ve got has never failed me.

Well from what I have learned is that they are:
- very inaccurate due to the short barrel
- breaks balls
- slow rate o' fire
- is a gas hog. 700 shots per a 20oz tank.
Now the MR1 is
- very accurate out of the box.
- doesnt break balls
- a good rate of fire but not extremely fast.
- wont waste as much gas

My Tippman has never broke a ball, 9 oz. tank lasts longer then the same on a friends spyder, it’s as accurate as the shooter(I can hit a target 2’x3’ at 30 yards 9 out of 10 times), and it shoots as fast as you can squeeze the trigger (I can burp out a three round burst just as fast as my friends electronic spyder). And it’s CHEAP, I only paid about $150 for a starter kit (mask, 9oz., hopper, and a squeegee.).
Call me "Judge", it's easier to type.

Must be my friends gun then. The MR1 or pilot ACS cost the same for a kit.

there is a 98 kit for sale at the local Kmart. It has been there for a couple months. probably because you wouldn't think of Kmart as a place that sells paintball guns.

yeah, I know 20+ people with A5's and 98's. they all are extremely happy. I considered getting an MR1, but I can get a hold of the 98 a lot quicker. there is one at Kmart, in a kit, that has been there forever, and it, along with hopper, co2 tank, and mask, is $110.00

With the 98c you need to spend more money on some upgrades to have a decent marker. To biggy though, just need a new barrel maybe some other stuff. It really is a good marker.

At the end of the day it is personal preferrence.

An Ion is not meant for co2. Liquid co2 can damage it. Tippmanns are very good markers, some of the best. Why do you think they are the most used field marker?

My MR1 is modded a lot. All the mods cost me next to nothing. Spyders are good because they are cheap and you can get cheap upgrades.

schmanman i didnt say i liked small gun, i said i liked hand held guns.
If your getting chased off a police dog, try not to run through a tunnel then onto a small see-saw then through a ring of fire. They are trained for that!
