well I understand your point here.. but you can't decide for yourself who is ok and who is not..

HEAL wouldn't be better
I am not saying that it is impossible to build a compact, fully self contained semi-auto air gun that could be used as a substitute of a firearm...
but building it would require access to a machine shop... and if you have access to a good machine shop you might as well use it to produce a firearm, which will perform better as a tool for criminals

Let's not forget that airguns were once viable weapons of war, and it is claimed that some high powered rifles are being used by special forces as stealthy close range sniper rifles.
