That looks like it will bring down a drop bear. Hybrid?

Hybrid of course. It was intended to be shoulder fired, but the barrel is a bit on the heavy side, being SCH40. I need some of MrCs tuning fork tubing.
And keep your eyes peeled Jack, got something in the works you'll appreciate

A couple of hours in the workshop working on the new airsoft
Using a limit switch for the QEV trigger, made an aluminum attachment for the switch

I can only hope to be as productive as you, farcticox... I actually laughed when you finished your sweet ass "BFG" saying you were off to start another project... but you actually...

well I was working on my vorteb BB machine gun as well but that's a lot more work than this one, so I'll focus on this for now

Found a 1/8 QEV I forgot I had, threw this together to see if would work good enough for a little target pistol I want to build in the future, seems to work nicely on airsoft, wasn't even a real barrel on it either

That's pretty neat. Having worked in the beverage industry that preform brought back a few memories

A bit more work to the airsoft, the aluminum block after the QEV is my attempt at a 3 round burst mechanism
A tube magazine will feed the block from the right hand side and a spring loaded bolt will let through 3 and block the rest, a single shot but a burst of 3, sort of a shotgun effect

This is my first QEV project, and one thing I notice is that when triggered it's more of a pulsed output, rather than a complete dump of the chamber (even if the trigger is still held down) is this just a pressure equalizing thing ?

As you're filling from the chamber side, did you modify the QEV piston/diaphragm to enable it to easily fill the pilot area?

I am filling through the P port from the trigger valve, chamber is on the A port and is not connected to supply. It is not modified.

Ah, I thought your push-to-connect fitting was a poppet valve - so how are you piloting exactly? Does your pilot valve simultaneously cut off the air supply?
