I swear I saw a design similar to that. A guy made a reciprocating piston housed in plexiglass and used a fire extinguisher as the air source. It's a nice idea though, should be awesome when you make it.

Saladtosser: nice work? Ya right it should be like SUPER Nice Job!

jalord159: Do you have a messanger service? (AIM, MSNM, Yahoo, etc) I would like to talk to you about this design. This is just what I was looking for. Iam in the process of building a BBMG and I was looking for a dif concept then a vortex because the barrel is to high coming out of the vortex. (proably doesnt make sense, doesnt need to) The only major question I have about this design is how fast will it fire? With the righ amount of tinker you should be able to get it to work. Im working on a slight variation of this destign right now. If all works out this concept will be in my gun and machined out of aluminum (found a cheap place to but aluminum). Please contact me on either AIM or MSNM ASAP my addresses for them are on the bottom of this post. Just hover over them with your mouse and it will say it on the bottom of your page. Very nice design. *back to work on the modded design...*

Man I guess I'm allowed to say WOW! OMFG! Theese plans are great I especially like the fire extinguisher (The thing that puts out fire don't know how to spell it). Anyway what's it pressurised to?

hi guys, yes hopefully i will build it just not yet (no cash) :( the idea was to make a bbmg thats more eficeint than a strafer, i built a cloud and theres no way i can take it to a skirmish thats longer than 5 seconds

I'm sorry but I think a vortex block is the best way to go.Optimum rate of fire and optimum flow for each shot.Simplicity is the best way to go.Think about it.No moving parts...
Works at any kind of pressure, ROF is unbelievable once you get over 200 psi.
I'm planning to build a metal version at a minimum of 30 bar( maybe I'll go up to 60 bar) and hopefully I'll find 9 mm BB's...
More destructive power than a handgun and legal where I live!!!

Yes, but coincidental-loading designs are rather horrible in their air usage per shot. Limmits portability, ya know.

boilingleadbath just proved what all my topics (and my website) are about. if youve got a tank of air and you drill a 6mm or 9mm hole in it then the air inside isnt likly to last more than a few seconds, so for a skirmish its useless + when i get shot out 4 or 5 rounds which sting are enough to let me know, 40 a seconds gonna p*ss people off.
however saying that if you have a large generator and are target shooting in the yard ect then i agree that they are truely incredable.
