So I feel like a real idiot now. I went to ACE to pick up the necessary PVC for my newest gun the other day on my lunch break. I was kinda in a hurry and so was the guy helping me. Apparently, he cut me some cell-core PVC, but I didn't realize it. Nor did I realize it until moments ago after I had cemented the parts together. MORON! Anyway, is there any way to salvage the parts (Take them apart) or should I just scrap the whole thing? Basically, I was curious about any solvent that would free the pipe, but lot harm its strength.

I'm a packrat, so personaly, I'd take a chissel to them and see if I can free peices of the couplers and whatnot. They can be very usefull at times.

Good point. The ignitor was easy to remove, but I'll see about the other stuff. I just still can't believe that I didn't pay attention to the pipe. That could have been pretty bad...and I have been at this for a few years so I should know better.

I'd take it and turn into something else like a pop dispenser or candy machine. Put a ball valve on the end and turn it into a party dispenser.

Well you can save the fittings. Just take a chop saw (or another saw that is avialbe to you) and cut right before the fittings, but leave a lip. Then take a screwdrive or chisel and put it one the lip. Hit inward (this hopefully brakes some of the glue away). If you manage to bust the glue loose the jam the screwdriver in the gap between the pipe and the fittings. Then slowly work your way around. Had to do this and it sucks, but hay you save money.

That could work. But I think I found a use for 97% of it. I cut the chamber right at the rear 3" coupling and put what was once the end of the barrel on the old cannon into what is now the joint between the chamber and barrel of the new cannon. The old half of a chamber is still cemented to the barrel, but acts as a barrel extender/silencer. Pics soon to come...

Thanks! Not sure yet about the silencer. I still need to put some holes in it. Most of the gun is just dry fit for the picture. I need to get time to paint and cement it. I will post finished pictures when I'm done.
