if you dont understand it dont try to build it, research research research

i said i understand it ok. and it not like im gonna give spudding a black mark for blowing myself up cuz i assure u with all do respect my integrity and intelligenc is far above that of the conventional dumbass though i respect your concern. just the ability to misunderstand one specific thing doesnt mean im gonna abandon soemthing

I figured you fuel it like a combustion, then you just add pressure, but that was just my assumpiton. I dont really have a desire to build a hybrid so I dont have to know. but if I had to guess, that would be it

Sorry but just because you say you understand it doesn't mean crap, understanding can't replace experience.

If you do build one I highly suggest remotelly firing it during testing.

Ok you all ready asked on Spudtech the same question and they told you to search. So what do you think is going to happen when you come here? The same thing were going to tell you to search.

I perfectly understand your quest for knowledge on hybrids. I for some reason would keep on asking, but never search for info. Trust me sit down for a hour or two and read up.

thank you for the tip i found all the info i needed. but with all do respect is it be possible to make things easier to find as on spudtech forum?

try the "search" button, Its dead center on the page as soon as you login, right under where it says

"Welcome crazy jap"
"You have 0 messages."
"You can now Submit your cannons! "

theres a couple buttons, then two text links, click the first one that says "search" and type "propane metering" on the search page

spraying an aerosol can into a hybrid is no way to fuel it, you must meter pressurized fuel into your cannon to get a specific amount BY VOLUME to ensure complete combustion, by definition a hybrid uses pressurized fuel in metered amounts, the "valve" that releases the pressurized gas upon combustion is typically a "burst disc" (another SEARCH term dude).

Before you try building a hybrid realize that you have a pressure limit and making a successfull hybrid cannon requires a lot of math and volume calculation. Try drawing out your plans before you slap something together.

yes done that finished the first one but im tesing it out first as a regular combustion to see how it works im gonna mod the hybrid part into it later this week

yeah the threaded union piece is the key to a combustion, in my opinoin, im currently working on one right now.

well some thing i came to relize when building the one this past weekend. hmm pvc unions crack really easy. but if u move the ignition to the front towards the union instead of the back or middle. you get better shots and less exploding unions. just a note

that isnt going to matter at all, its the amount of pressure created that bursts pvc, putting the electrodes to the front is probably just not igniting the fuel fast enough and getting weaker shots.

weak shots dont break pvc
