i think im ready for the next step and try and build a hybrid.. thing is i need a little direction.. im not askin for exact plans or anything.. just maybe i diagram or parts list.. something to show how exactly it works.. then i can figure out from there. ya know?.. if somebody already asked this question plz provider link... thanks guys...

If you've only built three cannons, then i woudn't consider you ready to build a hybrid. Hybrids can be very dangerous, even when safety measures are taken. They are very complicated and require lots of knowledge to build. I have a few questions for you
1. What's your fuel setup on your combustions?
2. What kind of pipe are you planning to use on the hybrid?
And also, please just put in "hybrid" in the search (or go to the hybrid section of the cannons page, and you will find out how other people have made them

If i were you i would make more cannons and do a ton more research before you tried to build one. I personally am not even slightly close to being ready to build one and won't be for years.

oh boy, here it comes
you should know that "veteran" members here seriously disapprove of new people (not noobs, just new to here) on the forum jumping right to hybrid guns.

cue BLB, Drac (DAMN THATS FAST), Pimpmann or SpudShot in the next 48hrs

but if you can prove to us you know exactly what you are doing, they will cut ya some slack, just dont sell it,example

UH OH UH OH UH OH!!!!!!

SEARCH FRIGGIN SEARCH!!!

Besides, if you have to ask questions you really shouldn't be messing with hybrids. I think you should learn some more about cannons and work with prpane a bit.

Note I'm not trying to be a jerk, but these guns are really dangerous, so if you don't understand how they work, don't ttry.

I dont want to assume anything, but 3 cannons makes me think that you need more experience. To the dimensions of everything, it doesnt matter all you need to implement is parts for high pressure, and a fueling system. So do you even know how hybrids work???

EDIT: Holy [dog crap] 4 replys before I finished my 3 liner... What Shrimp was saying was ligit, he doesnt need any high ranks to simply give suggestions.

And before anyone says I'm an asshole who hasnt built one yet, I am in the process of making one. Its 3/4 turned down to fit in 1 inch with custom 1/2 adapters for the plug and union connection. All made on the lathe. :D

yeah im not saying im just gonna start builing this massive cannon that shoots like 800psi or what ever, ive gone thru the forum and just asking for like a diagram of parts and how it works exactly.. that is just how my brain works i need to see it... then i can expeiriment on a smaller scale... and go from there.. there have been like 5 replies to this post already,,, and if nobody can give me this just say it instead of repling " your a noob.. ur not ready" thats a waste of bandwith and time no?...

like we said, search for hybrids, or go to the hybrid section, or go to the spud wiki, and look up hybrids, and between the three of those, there will be enough info. for you to grasp the basics of hybrids. But then still get some more experience before building.

Ok, your not listening. There is certain components needed in a hybrid, but there isnt a part list you need to follow. All you need is parts that connect all components correctly and safely. Also before you go off building a hybrid please get the whole broken shift key thing under control. Hybrids simply follow a simple concept, but you can go about a billion ways of building it, just like any other type of cannon. If you did some simple searching you would discover to your surprise that they are simply just a little more complicated then a metered propane combustion. Im sure you can easly build such a cannon, but Im worried that you wont take all necessary percautions. Hell, Im a mod and I havent finished one...

im with the pros,do NOT build a hybrid untill you build some experience up. ever wondered what it feels like to have 500 shards of pvc blown into your face @ 400psi? thats what can happen if you dont know what you are doing. im nowhere near experienced enough to build one,and ill be on my third cannon soon

has anybody ever thought about while building a hybird make all your controls/gauges/everthing needed to fire the cannon, at a remote station? then build a cage/box around the chamber, that way if it blows up all the shards/parts are contained and the only time your in harms way is when loading and aiming, then jump back behind barrier and watch the gauges do your thing --- pull the trigger

THATS THE ONLY SAFE WAY I CAN THINK OF TO USE A HYBIRD CANNON

hit me back on that idea

well, i'm not gonna be a dickhead about people asking questions about hybrids (for once) build some more cannons, propane metered combustions, and all different kinds of pneumatics, from what i've read you've never built a pneumatic before. do alot of research, and look around on http://www.spudtech.com there's alot of information about hybrids there.
