I am looking for a good source for schraeder valves, sprinkler valves, and 3" to 1" pvc couplings. As for the first two, I would go to spudtech, which is what put me on to this place, but his store is down. I am wondering where he gets his trigger-style sprinkler valves, as I haven't seen those anywhere, and I am looking for cheap shcraeder valves, because I am making a small fleet of pneumatic guns for a game my friends and I play (think of it as paintball on next to no budget.) I don't know if the couplings I need even exist. I can't find them anywhere.

Also, if anyone can recommend a good source for a barbecue ignitor, it would be nice. I can find one easily, but if anyone has any recomendations...

I am a total newb, and I really don't know what I am doing, but this place looks incredible, and I have always had a certain fascination with things that shoot and explode.

Thank you so much. This looks awesome! I can do the trigger mechanisms myself, and if these people don't have 3" to 1" couplings, they don't exist. I'll just do two steps, it's not hard. Thanks again, man.

Actually, I think I still need sprinkler valves. McMaster Carr has them, but they are really pricey.

Well, there are, but they don't have a good selection. I have had a hell of a time with pvc fittings, and the schraeder valves and sprinkler valves were simply not to be had.

I'm in the middle of nowhere. I don't have a lowes for an hours drive. Thanks, though. If I ever end up there, I'll check. What's the model number of the generic bicycle pump schraeder valve, anyway?

EDIT:
Google Product search turned up some sprinkler valves.
any problem with these?

$20 is a bit steep, but it's acceptable. If I can get a whole gun in at $35, that's not too shabby.

There's always Ebay... :D

I did find a valve on some other hardware site for $13 once, although I forget which.

Schraders are also known as 'Tank Valves' if that helps. Hence the fact that you can find them in with hot water tanks, as brogden said.
