I know nothing about PVC Fittings...

Problem: Need to take a 2" SHC-40 PVC Pipe, and bring it down to a 1" for a sprinkler valve.

Could I use a Bushing?

Or This:

These are all the same right?

Please tell me what to use to bring it from 2" to 1"!

You need a bushing (like you showed) with a threaded adapter to fit the sprinkler valve.

Spigot means pipe. It will be the same size as the od of the size pipe listed.

He doesn't need a threaded adapter if he gets a valve with solvent slots. That's what I got for my CA1.

The best way to learn all about fittings is just to dive into the plumbing isle at your local hardware. Yeah, those bushings will work, but I would strongly recommend just going out to Lowes or HD and getting your hands on the stuff.

Going to the plumbing section at Lowes or something helps a lot. It quickly shows you how fittings are supposed to be used.

Yea, I went to Lowes and Home Depot, and both of them were lacking inventory, HD was terrible... (small one here)

Anyways I ordered the bushings online! Thanks For the help all!
