Hybrid Question

Hi, OK I actually have a couple questions. #1 What exactly does the 2x 3x 4x mix stuff for hybrids mean? Is it how many times more fuel AND air, and how do you figure out the air pressure for the fuel ratios. Its not that I'm building one but I'd just like to know what it means. #2 When you pressurize a metering pipe that has the correct volume, do you pressurize it to the full 90psi propane tank pressure? And if so, if you were to use a double (or more) in volume metering pipe could you just pressurize it to 45psi, or 90psi and get 2 shots using a regulator? Also, I was thinking of something odd but roll with this, a 3-in-1 spud gun, as in easily switchable from combustion, to pneumatic, to hybrid, by just switching barrels and a few fittings. I had the idea to go about this so I could learn all about all 3 types, starting with combustion, and upgrading it so I dont have to build a new cannon every time. I would just build it to accomodate later upgrades. If anyone seems interested I may make out a drawing showing the design of what I'm thinking may work and it requires very little expensive materials. If you guys seem interested please reply to this so I can get some advice if i decide to actually build it some day.

Interchangeable cannon, i like that idea! As for your hybrid questions try spud wiki. I would like to see a good detailed drawing of the 3 in 1, useing a different page for each phase, and one completed.
