We had a booth at the Honolulu gun show and were featured in the news.

Spud guns being shown in a good light, rather than being portrayed as deathtraps that explode if you put too much fuel in (we all know that's false, don't we- yeh I'm talking about Ryan from Iowa I think it was).

Good work, hopefully this doesn't provoke parents against everything action.

It was a good show for spudguns in general. We had about 2500 people in attendance and I personally spoke to approximately 400. It definitely was good to defend some misconceptions concerning our industry.

Yeah, I attended a similar gun show a few weeks ago in my area and saw the same potential there. There was a guy selling thick steel and black powder based noise cannons but no "potato cannons" as we would define them.

The quarter mile claim for shooting a spud can be pretty easily debunked...other hardened ammo, that's pretty easy to do. Otherwise, some nice PR for you jager.

It's amusing the difference in damage between a little metal bullet and a massive chunk of *insert any kind of material here*.

The machined parts really do look the business on there.

So spudguns cost about $1000 now to build?

Congrats on the TV coverage

Mine'll probably be more like £1000 but that's for another year and I will be blaming machining costs for most of that.

Your average one won't and neither did those, point is the cost of building + labour + profit margin = $1000 for that cannon.

Gotta earn a wage somehow ^^

Are you based in Honolulu? If so, shipping costs must kill you.

Worked fine for me, spudgun is the last 1/4 or 1/5 of the clip.
