That's cool. 8) NIce design.
Here's mine.
Not for quite the same purpose, but it'd look beastly made to fit a 2" barrel. Hmmmm

Gippeto, How did you machine the slots? Is that surfacing with a small ball endmill or a plunge cut with a square endmill?

Very impressive. I'm sure that'll see a respectable number of sales.
As an aside, I'm sure that - given you're sponsoring the site - if you asked PCGUY for a signature, he could give you the privilege so that you don't need to manually append your signature and website link each time.

@USFG
Repeated light plunge cuts w/ a standard 4 flute end mill.
Chips from above!!!
Looking forward to those night shots. 8)

Nice aesthetics and it should have some influence on felt recoil too
Don't you think though that these machining facilities are "wasted" to some extent on combustions? If you had to expand your operation to include pneumatics as well you could be churning out some pretty innovative launchers, though of course you'd lose the combustion advantage of having a self contained launcher that doesn't require ancillary equipment.

Dang...That is very nice!
Quite an impressive brake, it will be cool to see some night shots with it!

These will make a killing once you start pumping them out. I hope you'll sell them on their own.
I agree with JSR. Bring on the incredibly advanced semi/ full-auto pneumatic cannons!

I agree. If you made them available individually and I made a cannon with a 2" bore I'd buy one, assuming the price is right.
Nice work!

Hey now, we'll have no more of that throwing off on combustions...
Actually, that muzzle could just as easily be fit up to a pneumatic model.

I *knew* you'd have something to say about that

I'm making a MK19 Grenade Launcher, how much for one of these?

Thanks for the nice comments. I'll get back to you all on the pricing... reductive machining from thick walled tube PVC is a more expensive route we are considering to build a plastic injection machine depending on interest to help the cost.
JSR pnuematic stuff is pretty close to a debut...
There has been talks of resurrecting the tracked vehicle at the shop for full auto/large diameter spud artillery. So much to do and only 20 working hours a day.
