I have seen nailguns like this one

that use a little valve thing thats for an air compressor to release the pressure. i was thinking that a fire extinguisher mechanism for releasing the CO2 is similar to that. it is designed to let pressure out fast so it should be faster than an air compressor one and it is made to hold high pressure. do you think this would work on a small pneumatic cannon?

hey thats mine! cool
fire extinguiser valves do have some advantages over blowguns, they come with a pressure guage and "safety" pins, i dont know if they have higher flow, but anything is better than a blowgun. but it can get expensive and hard to come by and something it is hard to remove and use.

if i had one, i would haved used it

you could use it for some multishot launcher, also if you pulled apart one of them foam fire extinguishers they have little co2 holders so when you press the handle it pierces the co2 cartridge, just thoughts off the top of my head.

it will work justy fine for small launchers. They have a higher flow then blowguns.
It's basicly a knockopen valve ( like in a crosman co2 pistol)without the hammer.
