What is the best type of wire to use on a stun gun? I would use the TV fly back wires but I dont not have a old TV to use. Do you think that 8 gague wire would be good?, i have been looking on the internet and Iam going to try and talk to this electristin(spelling) that I know. Thanks

Yes, it will. Think about it spark plug wires carry high voltage to the spark plug, so surely they are isolated accordingly.

I've heard of people using wire for speakers and stuff. You can, it works, but don't touch them. I Had a 300k stun gun. I touched the wire unknowingly and my hand went numb, knees were shaking and felt like I got kicked in the stomach.

16 ga. wire rated over 400 volts, speaker wire (i use 600v flame proof wire)
also, 100,000 volts is all ya need 300,000 is a waste of battery

Ill tell you something that adds to the "cleaness" of your gun, as well as protect you from getting shocked. The same hosing you use for your metering system, use to put your wires in. Put them in seperate hoses of course. You have to have a damn super spark to pass threw 2 seperate 1/8" thick rubber walls.

Yeah it will work but you need another wire to go with it. A spark plug cable has one lead in it. You need two for the spark to work.
As for speaker cable, I was the one that did that. Bad choice. Don't do it. The current jumps through the weak insulation if they are too close often times.

Since the gun is metal I was going to put a ground on it and have 1 positive wire going to the electrods, but that would work, i might have to insulatet the electrods from the metal pipe? Idk its late and iam going to bed.

If the gun is metal you will be fine. I assumed it wasn't but the idea ran accross my mind only to be tossed out because metal launchers are not so common.
