Yeah, like appending the title "If you love God, watch this" to a video that is clearly of slow motion. No deities involved at all.

That said, it is a neat video. I dug up a whole load of this stuff a while back as part of the development of my piercing dart ammunition. It does help being able to see how these impacts actually happen.

On film 4 million fps has been possible since the 1960s or 1970s (not sure which but it's been around a loooong time). Seriously.

In the digital age? It's possible now, but it wasn't 5 years ago.

I would sure like to have a HS camera. Getting a few more videos of some of my impacts would be nice.

I caught this a couple of weeks ago from someone's blog post. The elegant "flowering" effects in some of those shots belies the brutish energies at work there.

Is that just from the energy, or bullet design? Used to read NRA magazines, and recall something of that nature being designed. Long time though, and honestly pretty shameful my comprehension of firearms... Dad was into them, but after we emptied 200 or so bullets for his 25-06 to make "boomies" he just sold it.

There were two or three shots of some sort of rifle bullet skidding of a slanted metal plate somewhere in there.

At around the 5:06 mark it looks like a tumbling bullet impacting sideways. How did they do that?
