I know there's already a thread in this vein, however this particular example was os viivid I think it merits its own thread :)

You KNOW you're a spudder when, under fire in the slums of Rio de Janeiro, dirt and lead flying everywere, and in spite of the assault rifle/grenade launcher you have in your hand, you still manage to spot pressure rated PVC and pause to wonder "Hmmm, I wonder, chamber or barrel?"

:D :D :D

Yes, Modern Warfare 2, if I disappear for a couple of weeks you'll know why ;)

Nah, you're a spudder if you'd recognise (while under fire) that 480 psi is a ridiculously high rated pressure for SCH40 in that diameter.

You'd almost think the creators of the game put that in deliberately...

Maybe they are spudders... :D

It actually did cross my mind, in spite of my lack of familiarity with US pipe sizes :)

That was my first thought, which one of you ars'oles works at infinity ward? hehe

Interesting to note that the same piping can be found in a Russian castle too
 :D

I want some of that PVC. 480 Psi in that diameter?

Looks awesome though, but I'm playing world at war atm..just prestiged again, and I haven't been doing stuff all seen as starting it all again is boring.

Though seen as I am on Wii I kept all of my perks (overkill, martyrdom, flamethrower, sleight of hand etc).

Thats pretty cool and definitely something a spudder would notice. I to, however, did notice the uber pressure rating of the SCH40.

That's what I really like about the game, the detail is fantastic and it's these little things which really bring it to life.

Sweet! Now that's detail!
See if you can use it to unlock "the tactical spudgun" and attach some goodies like a silencer, scope or red dot reflex sight. :)

Haha, good eye though i'm not so much of a fan of those slum missions. You have to slowly work your way up the slum checking every corner and every house twice...

JSR, you on the special op missions yet? Anyone played the mission with the safe house and you gotta take out 40 guys (incl 4-5 juggs and a bunch of snipers)? I've spent hours on that damn mission, got down to 3 guys before a jugg blasted me from no where.

edit: no primer stains, probably didn't pass inspection
