Not overly imaginative, but interesting for its simplicity of design. Could possibly be improved by partially ballancing the valve.

That's pretty cool. It reminds me of an idea I had for a qdv with a spring on the outside so you could use a lever type trigger. It was
gonna be a shoulder fired bazooka type thing... It kinda makes me want to make something like it...

It would be awesome if people made guns like that an converted them to use airsoft bbs. that wuld be really awesome. Then people could actually have guns like that in proffesional fields because most fields don't let home-made guns in. i wonder why. i would say most home-made guns shoot under the feet-per-second/ joule limit.

Not if they were made by us they wouldn't..
We shoot them through steel cans ( que JSR)..Or embed them in solid wooden doors.
I dislike the caliber...I do like the suggestion of semi-balancing a hammer valve on an airpowered shotgun..
This is one of my future projects...
Once I get my lathe....

Air "soft" my arse
There are some very interesting airguns on that site, a
semi-automatic rifle for 0.22" lead balls and what looks like
a revolver that's been grafted to an air rifle

10 footpound semi...pff... 8)
It would be more suitable as ammo..
95 cm's of wasted potential..
No I'm kidding...it certainly is interesting even if it were just because they think outside the box ( a little)
The pistol I like!
Damn I need a lathe...

isnt a co-ax with shotgun shells(homemade, non explosive) even more simple?

@techie
what gippeto meant was that it relatively simple when compared with other PCP airguns

How would you seal the rod that passes through the back of the air reservoir?
Asides from that, it's nice and simple (could be made very low profile considering the position of the hammer- makes some space for a trigger/sear setup).

Screw metaphor. I've still got the scars from when I did it entirely literally...
