Im having trouble with my modded sprinker valve and i got the exact same kind as in the How-To and followed all the diretions but when i fill my chamber the pressure goes right through the other end of the valve.PLEAS HELP.

That happened to me too on my first modded sprinkler valve. The pressure needs to be around 20 PSI before the valve will close.

Also, on my valve there was a white plastic piece on the diaphragm. If there is one on yours, take it off.

but how do you get it to that pressure without it all leaking out and is the white thing the piece that takes up about half of the diaphram???

Hey i fixxed the problem and boy was it a stupid one. i forgot to fill the soloniod hole with glue now it works just fine.YEAH!!!

If it happens again there could be shavings, dust, or dirt on the diaphram seal perventing it from properly sealing

now that thw epoxy dryed it worked once then didnt work anymore.I looked for dirt on the diaphram but theres nothing. I dont understand do you think that its broken?

Is it to strong, pushing it in a cone shape not allowing it to seal? maby? Not strong enough? Piloting passage ways cracked allowing the air to escape??

ok if the pitot vavle is leaking from the base would that affect the diaphram to be pushed down and seal because that is what i think is happening. Does that make sense?

Yes if it is leaking bad enough. Did you hear the air whooshing through? Try wetting the diaphram once to see if that will make it seal.

ok i use a lot of teflon tape and now im going to epoxy my blow gun into it right after i wet the diaphram. i hope this works or else i just wasted 12 bucks.

Dude just squirt water were you put the air in, it will find it's way to the diaphram and make it wet.

See if the valve is facing the right way there is an arrow to show flow direction this happend with my gun when i first had a modded sprinkler valve.
