SCH40 vs SCH80 PVC ID Surface

I have noticed that SCH40 PVC pipe has a rather irregular surface on inside of the pipe. The inside is not as "smooth" as the outside.
Has anyone else noticed this or does this vary with the brand?
Does SCH80 PVC pipe have he same ID surface or is it "smoother"?
Another question relating to this ID surface, especially to any one with a piston hone. How well will a piston hone work on PVC pipe? I am sure on iron/steel it may work OK.
On softer metals and PVC will the stone clog up to quickly? This is assuming a slow rotational speed.
This seems like an easy way to hone piston sleeve to piston diameter fit?
Any comments from those with access to a hone?
