Ammo vould be steel ball berings
whatever you do, make sure that the 3/2 pipe fittings are thick enough, because in my first airgun some of them cracked on 30 bar of pressure, so be carefull as your unregulated co2 can easely double that pressure on a hot summer day :P

p.s.
I used to use steel ball bearings too on this gun, but I found that for target practice 0.25 grams airsoft BB's easely pierce thick tin-cans (I hope i got it right :P ) on a distance of 10-15 meters

Yea company who provides brass fittings to my local pipe shop promise 100 bar pressure hold.
I agree that normal BBs can go trough can ( ive tested it whit fire extinghusher used as hammer valve and chamber and hit it whit hammer barrel was connected to extinghuisher outlet and bb go trought butane refil can) but the HPA gun is still under working.
By the way air source would be sodastream co2 bottle. my local machiner made adapter for that at really cheap :D .

i have no ideea on the price of the sodastream in your country but in mine (romania) it's cheaper to use 12g siliconed airsoft co2 capsules.
by the way, good luck finishint your HPA, mine isn't ready yet, still needs some grinding :P
