ok first let me state my question about the honking valve. i have not as yet built my gun but i want to use electrical diphragm triggering( simply because i have an airsoft pistol grip and i can put the compnents nside that) and i was wondering is "honking" happens at a low pressure or at high pressure (80+psi).

and now for my second question. i want to put the trigger for the valve in a grip and i was just wondering if anyone has sujjestions about a way to put a blowgun ( i dont think my hardware store sells the pistol grip type) into some kind of grip. i was thinking that i might be able to muy a pistol grip one off of amazon and then take a tube from the valve into the bottom of the pistol blowgun.

sorry about the double post but it would have been way too long and confusing if i had edited it.
also i have another question. does anyone have any suggestions on how to make a folding bipod out of pvc or metal tubing

honking, is when the valve cant exaust the pilot fast enough.

Why don't you model the gun using the GGDT? You should be able to tell if the honking problem will be worse or better at higher pressures...
After all, it is your problem - you should be the one figuring it out.

As to the bipod, I'v put some thought into it, and here's my current plot:

The light grey is a peice of angle iron, the dark grey is one of the legs, the red line is a tension spring, the black dots are pivots/attatchment points/pegs, and the green is the barrel.

thanks alot for the suggestions. i built my gun this weekend and it does honk. also it sucks (however it is a prototype) so i am definitely going to mod it. also does ggdt work on macs...i dont use pc's that much...infact there isnt even one in the house though my dad has bootcamp.
