Has anyone bought a real air chamber A.K.A. Air Tank to put to there air cannon or are everyones air tank homemade out of PVC, Coz What if you buy an air tank like the one used in the air rifle called "air force condor" The air tank holds 3000psi, so if you can make a cannon using that air tank i think it will be powerful.

That is used slowly, thats a holding tank for the compressed/liquified gas not all of it gets used at once.

yea, also now you need to think of a way to get 3000 psi.

all you need to go to is your local diving store or if anyone in your area has a airtank you just need to buy a station

There aren't too many valves that can handle that kind of pressure, maybe a steel butterfly valve. Look at pumpkin chunkers, they use high pressure tanks, then look at their valves.

Most butterfly valves arn't rated for more than 1000 psi. There are some ball valves that are, however... but I don't think you'll find any quick valves for that pressure, and are stuck building an actuation cylinder for your ball valve.

Ive seen a gun that uses an empty propane tank as a chamber. Ive always wanted to use a beer keg as a chamber

If the air tank you are talking about is a paintball tank then the only thing that has 3000 psi in it is the actual tank and that is not the output pressure. There is a regulator on the end of it that drops the pressure down to somewhere inbetween 600-800 psi on a high pressure tank and somewhere between 200-400 psi on a low pressure tank.

You should be able to fill one of these up at just about any paintball store/field. The diving places have the capability to do it but dont have all the fittings to hook the tank up.
