I need a design for an airsoft gun. I would prefer it to be full or semi auto, I have built 2 cloud but I would like something a little more efficient on air and more powerful. I think a hammer valve might be good. This gun will be used for skirmishes so I need it to be able to run off of a tank. I have a blowgun and $35 for this project so please give me good guns to base off of. I would prefer that all of the parts can be bought at Home Depot.
thanks

Haha that is quite a request, what are your building skills like, and what tools do you have access to? With a lathe or a mill you can build pretty much anything from some plastic or aluminum stock from home depot.
Also I think it is far more rewarding to design and build the gun yourself not just use something you see on the Internet.
The easiest way to get reliable and efficient semi auto is as polandspuds signature suggests, just get a pneumatic cylinder and a dcv (course these may not be available at home depot, but you can make your own three way valvle and cylinder if need be). I buit one using a 3way valve that piloted a qev and used a pneumatic ram to load, and it could be run off propane to be portable.

if you only have 35 bucks to spend then i think you should go with a valve less dent system

Have a read through
this thread, there are plenty of ways to improve cloud performance and efficiency without moving to a more complex design.

Ok thanks I am thinking I will build a clound with an oring or the adjustable rof so I don't waste too much ammo and need an efficient gun.
so thanks.

For 35 bux just buy a cheapo gun and modify it
Like So. I wish more people used this idea. It is amazingly cheap, simple, effective, and realistic.
