Asymmetrical muzzle brake as hop-up?

Hey guys, new to the forum and air-guns in general. Just started looking at this stuff about half a week ago, and I have an idea. I searched a bit and didn't see it mentioned already.
What if you incorporated a hop-up into a muzzle? Have all the pressure escape routes pointing forward on the bottom, and it should give the BB backspin, right?

hmm i think it just ports some gas away and the bb is going without spin, could me wrong

I think the effect would be insignificant unless you did it along the entire length of the barrel. It would be a good test though. I say go for it and see, the problem here is that it isn't ajustable and would take extensive testing to determine the right hole size and angle for optimum hop-up performance and accuracy. For such a small bore though, it may be hard to implement.

make the top side of the barrel a little bit rough(something like fine sandpaper rough) this'll create a gear effect.

I get the feeling that the projectile is going to be exposed to the (perhaps minimal) rotational force so briefly that it would be unable to induce a significant rotation, let alone cancel any rotation the projectile may have imparted to it by its contact with the barrel. I think to get reasonable spin the port would have to be right near the breech, where the projectile is moving slowly. However this would cost you great deals of propellant gas right at the beginning of the shot... It doesn't seem practical.

Perhaps this is more obvious if you've been researching this for a while - and to aid to Insomniac's post -
The flatline barrel (and others which induce spinning on a non-concentric axis) are overbored to prevent contact on the entirety of the perimeter.
The porting would only let gas out after the projectile has passed it as well - but it would let the stagnate air in front of it a path to exit as well...
The former Smart Parts paintball company used to make a spiral ported barrel with the claim that it would induce rifling on the paintball way back in the day. They dropped this part of the advertising after people figured out it was BS... worth a try though!
