Edit-sorry about small picture, it's understandable in full screen under zoom.

Send Dewey1 a PM. He is a whiz with Sketchup. He modeled one of my launchers in it with rectangular ports in the valve.

This chamber and valve is for my Marshmallow Cannon.

@Tech;

I do all my drawings in autocad and then import them into sketchup.
I am far from a whiz in sketchup.

Actually I am quicker and better in autocad.
Been using variations of autocad for 20 years.

The "rectangle" ; Did you want to create a groove in it, similar to this?

I used a drill press to drill a series of holes lengthwise the pipe. I used a hacksaw go do the cuts cross the pipe. Then the sections were lifted out and then filed smooth.

I photo documented a larger cannon. The small one was made the exact same way.

The thread on the 2.5 inch build is here. It is not finished yet.

Search :roll:

Could have sworn I wrote this for a reason :roll:

Look a few posts down, I cover how to remove sections from curved surfaces by intersection + deleting, with a vortex block as an example. Ask here again if you need more help.
