A QEV is essentially a piston valve, what calibre were you thinking of?

First, how many chain posts??? Second, piston valves really aren't to complicated. All you need to do is fit a mostly airtight piston in a tee. Its not too terribly complex.

If you can't be arsed to put together a piston valve, which I would consider to be a basic project especially for someone who has already made a sprinkler valve launcher, maybe spudding is not the hobby for you ;)

If you dont have the knowledge of a basic piston valve, maybe it's not wise to build one yet. You should research more, understand the dangers, and the responsibility you have to face if you danger or worse case scenario you kill you're self and other people because of your stupidity.

there are plently of infomation on how to build one.
Look for inspiration in the Showcase, it helped for me.

What happened with the other guy that was helping you, dont want to mention any names, lol!!! The price he told you was a fair price, especially with the sprinkler valve build onto it. your not going to get it cheaper than that.
Also Jesse, do some research around the forum. Look at other peoples pistons, what I did was I kept clicking on the random cannons box and looked at the ones that applied. I mean Im not one to talk, cuz I still havnt figured out the whole process, but Im at least trying. If you try more people will want to help you, rather than just saying can someone sell me one, you know?? Worse case scenario is you try and if it dont work, your out like 10 bucks, and at least then, you tried!! I could tell from talking to you that your a pretty smart kid, so why not give it a go??? :?: :?: I THINK I CAN I THINK ICAN I THINK I CAN!!
