hey,i had an ingenious idea!!!!! you know those backpack mounted squirt guns with pilot lights? well i made one, and i was thinking, maybe i could use it as an air source to make a cloud bbmg more portable. my chamber is 3 feet long and 3" wide, so it should be a fairly good shooting time at 70 psi, but this will be great when i buy my 1/4" brake line. :D :D :D

i'm actually in the process of making one of these! I plan on making a big "0" with pvc pipe and connectors. then, im running a compressor hose from the backpack to my cloud bbmg with a quick disconnect (like those on a compressor). Then im going to pressurize it with a compressor and go shoot sum little ki... er.. pop cans! ya thats it  Anyways, i thought that one could also run two 20 oz. co2 (tubed together with compressor hose to allow longer and steady shooting) to the backpack with a regulator so that one could pressurize it easily in the field! Question about that tho, could you just run two co2 straight to the gun and shoot with that? Also, the co2 would get cold from discharge so could that stop shooting? Then ou would have to stop and warm them up (bad). Thats why im leaning towards the co2 filling up the backpack so they have some time to warm up. Any ideas or suggestions would be very appreciated.

You could also mount a CO2 n the back pack and a valve and stuff so you could have on board CO2.

demilius, you need an anti siphion tube to stop liquid co2 entering the gun.

I don't think a cloud paintball would work nicely.

You would have to have a sh*t load of air at very high pressure.

didn't the guy from spudtech make a ping pong cloud? it was powered by a shop-vac and he was able to spray ping pong balls around his yard.
obviously it wasn't powerful but it's prolly one of the largest clouds made.

ping pong balls are very light, and that's y i think it worked. a pb cloud sounds unrealistic, but i bet you someone will make one and stick it in our faces.

yeah it is, i didn't want to be the first person to criticize that tank, but the wye is a pretty bad idea if you want to store alot of pressure (which is what the tank is for).

i would suggest scrapping it for parts or turning it into a portable propane injector (like the guy on advancedspuds.com). no offense to your skills beebs, but if you keep putting a whole lot of pressure in their it's gonna blow eventually.

better safe than sorry.

I have a chamber that big for a non spud related project, it takes about 2minutes to pump it up to 20 psi.
