On the pneumatic cannons what is the meter for?
Which part of the cannon do you istall it to?
How do you install it?
How much are they? & where do you buy them
Are they nessesary?

a pressure gauge? if so drill a hole and screw it in with some teflon tape on it.

A1- To see what pressure your chamber is at. For both safety and "powerfulness".
A2- The chamber.
A3- Ignore above poster first off. Secondly, get a tap the size of your pressure gauge/ metering "stuff". Drill a hole with the recommended drill bit size threw a double thick area. (Where fitting and pipe overlap) Then thread tap into the hole, trying to keep straight as possible and back off a 1/4 turn ever few turns or so. Then put teflon tape on the RIGHT way, and then thread into the hole.
A4- Pressure gauges? I can get those for ~2$, although yours are un-doubtly more like 8$. Schraders are like 3$.
A5- The first thing you need to do is clarify what in the f*ck the "meter" is.

Still under the assumption that we are talking about a gauge here.

Another good and not to mention safe way to add a gauge is to use a reducing bushing that is socket-weld by NPT for an end cap. Just add some Teflon tape and you’re all set no drilling or tapping involved.
As seen below on my cannon:

lol djt, I got a batch of 50 200psi gauges in a "mystery box" once at a flea-market in Hartville, Ohio for like @10 and only 1 had broken glass, but it still worked fine...
I tapped holes for my gauge on my new pneumatic yesterday with a tap, and it didn't work very well, the tap wouldn't grab right, I think I drilled the pilot hole a little to big, but afterwards I threaded in a barb with an 1/8" NPT's and it tapped it fine....
