I recently made two cloud bbmgs out of 2" sch 40 pvc pipe. I made one with 1/4" brakeline for a barrel and it works fine w/ airsoft bbs. I made another with copper tubing (flared at one end by me) inserted into 1/4" brakeline (added strngth, copper is easily bent) for the barrel. I cannot get the metal bb one to fire very well. I can get intermitant firing with short bursts if I'm lucky. Other than that it doesn't shoot. Also, it's not very powerful, it won't even penetrate a pop can! I'm doing this with a 1gal compressor at 125 PSI. I thought that it should at least work as long as the pressure was high enough. The entire chamber is about 17 cm long. I have no leaks or broken seals. Is the chamber just too big?
Help is always appreciated.

People have talked about metal BBs working well in clouds. Try a vortex for metal BBs.
