I've seen a few people ask about joining aluminum easily in the past, so I figured I'd share a related youtube video I found on the subject.

Needless to say, I have a pound of the stuff in the mail right now.
Ebay seems to be the cheapest option if you're in the US.

Adheres to aluminum, copper, brass, zinc and similar pot metals. Won't adhere to steel directly.

I've seen it before - I don't know if it was discussed here or somewhere else and I don't remember if someone told me that it is good or no good at all...

lol I guess me response wasn't very useful - sorry it's too late to think :-D

when you do get it - make a detailed review of it... I'd like to know how well it handles pressure

Alumaloy got here today. I just played with it a little, but it works as the video suggests; I didn't even need to wire brush it first. I'll finish up my drill press review by this weekend and probably do one on this stuff while I'm at it.
