I'm in the process of building an over/under pneumatic and before I get to far into it I would like to know, Where should I put the valve; at the start of the barrel or at the end of the tank?

You can see Most people make them at the start of their barrel, but after I've made mine I kinda wish I would've made it at the end of my tank...

I only want it their though because I switch that sprinkler valve in between my two guns and I have to take off my blowgun to unscrew the sprinkler valve because the blowgun is too long to spin the valve with it on...

It's really personal prefference.... If you have the valve after the elbows, theirs more room for the air to go, but it can be annoying for me to have to keep re-tefloning my blowgun....

I wish people would stop needing a better signature!

If your using a large size chamber and a large barrel, use reducer s and put the valve between the elbows.
