co2 with copper?

i was wondering if copper will be able to handle a co2 canister. (those bike ones) i plan to use it in a QEV slide valve configuration like if done before.
and how many shot you would get from a co2 canister.

It depends on how large the pressure vessel you are storing the CO2 in. But those 12g cartridges will be at about 800-850psi - far too high for copper to be used safely with. Your best bet would be to stick with around 400psi as a safe max.
