Hey guys, completely new to this forum. I'm ready to build my first combustion spud gun! Although I have done a lot of research, I have some questions to ask you guys.

I plan on buying a spark igniter from here

but I'm not sure if I need a drill and tap for the screws, and also what size for the drill.

I plan on using a syringe with butane to fuel my gun, so should I use a ball valve to insert the syringe into my gun?

Edit: Also, do I need to modify a syringe for use with a butane cannister?

The ball valve is a cool idea but I think it would be unecessary. And for your syringe questions check this out.

And for the screws I think you provide them your self so you will have to find the right bit to use. I may be wrong though.
