What fittings would I need to attach a 3/4" CPVC barrel to a 1" threaded sprinkler valve?

I'm asking this question because I don't know how to adapt CPVC to PVC fittings.

u just need a 3/4in female non threaded to 1in male threaded adapter made of CPVC (i think i got my genders right), CPVC and PVC both have NPT threads just like ur sprinkler valve so the threads are all cooperative.
i got connections with the modfia, watch who ur talkin to noob.

Im almost thinking there has to be slip conversion pecies, but my McMaster search is coming up fruitless, and when they dont have something, most likely it dont exist, because they got everything. So you proably got to get a CPVC SxMIP(Male adapter), and then a PVC SxFIP (Female adapter). Of course the two NPT threads will need to be the right size, but I didnt speicfy for availbilty reasons.

Although, I ended up sanding down a 3/4" CPVC coupler until it fit inside of a 1" coupler and glued it in there. After talking to gort your also supposed to use "special" glue.

EDIT- Apperantly I was beat by two hell-a fast posters...

Thanks a lot.

Oh and just for future reference, do paintballs fit in 3/4" CPVC and 3/4" PVC?

Nope. Well I guess "yes", but with a whopping .2" of play. Go HERE to find PVC's info, although CPVC to my knowledge isnt on there. It must be understood that CPVC pipe is completly different then that of PVC, with different OD's, therefore you cant inter-mingle fittings, only threw a common which is NPT threads.

I believe 3/4" PVC is slightly larger than 3/4" CPVC, so paintballs will fit in both, but it is a better fit in CPVC.

Spudstuff- Did I hear a echo?

CF- "slightly" would be a understatement.

K, we know paintballs are .68" in diameter, and IIRC .75" CPVC has a ID of .69", while .75" PVC has a ID of .804". Below I will display the "plays":

CPVC Barrel and PB:
.69"-.68"= .01"
PVC Barrel and PB:
.804"-.68"= .124"

So basically if you use a .75" barrel with a PB your going to get about as much blow-by as a bannana in a 4" barrel. Now noobs stop posting these dinky ass posts which cause me inturn to type long responces to cover your stupid a$$ claims. Simple as, "dont post if you dont have anything worthwhile to bring to the table". (That dont include "echoing" worthwhile infromation)

My converter is made for interchangable Paintball barrels...

Since 3/4" CPVC is was to small to fit in 3/4" PVC fittings and to big to fit in 1/2" PVC fittings you have to put a male\female on the CPVC and a female\male on the PVC, respectively of course....
