BBMGs Are Now Portable!

About a week ago, I made my cloud BBMG. I then, of course, wanted to take it everywhere with me cause it was so much fun (pop cans, birds, little kids, etc. ). I started out unplugging the compressor and carrying it around but it was way too heavy. I was going to make a backpak air tank using PVC pipe but 4" is really expensive. So I searched for alternatives. I found a 10 gallon air tank that gets filled up by a compressor and then is portable. I had to unscrew one pice (it comes with an air chuck to fill up tires and stuff, and that doesnt work with a BBMG) and screwed a nipple and a female quick release for a tube to my BBMG. 10 gal. is a lot of air. It lasts a really long time. Most compressors are between 1 and 3. The tank itself weighs 30lbs, which isnt much and is less than PVC would weigh. It only costs between $30 and $40. Well worth it and great fun  . Just type into google air comppressor tank and you'll find it. Theres also a 5 gal model.

I actually already did, i just put it in an old hiking backpack and it's reallly easy to carry. When I first ordered it I was thinking 30lbs was a lot more, but when I got it it felt really light, especially strapped to your back.

Wow $20 for a 5 gallon, cheap, but still kinda expensive...

$70 for a 10 gallon is outrageous, I can get a 8 gallon compressor for $100

At Harbot Freight....
$22.99 for a 5 Gallon
$34.99 for a 10 gallon
I saw a 5 gallon for $17 or something last week at Harbor Freight...

$32.97 for a 11 gallon at Home-Depot....

$34.96 for a 10 gallon at Lowes...

I was just playing with it, and i shot my 2"x6" cloud BBMG until it was completely empty and i went down from a little less than 125psi to 80psi. Its great, I feel like a flamethrower guy from world war II. Well worth all the money i spent on it.

Oh, I'm so sorry that I don't know everything that everyone else has done. I'll try to be a walking encyclopedia next time. Theres no need for you to be haughty and sarcastic about me making this.

Demilus, you need to learn something about me. If I say something like that, it is pure sarcasm. I don't think you are stupid, but maybe I do think you haven't seen as much as I have and that you could look around and see some of these ideas. I'd suggest looking into a CO2 setup for the excellent portability.

I'm sorry I AM a walking encyclopedia! :P
