I have a very vague idea of what I recently aquired (for free). All I know is that it's a 2" pressure control valve made by singer and its freaking heavy.... From what I understand its essential a really big sprinkler type valve (diaphragm valve). Any ideas?

Searching the supplier site shows it is a piloted fast responding water pressure regulator.

I have no idea how you found that page, google wasn't kind to me. Basically it'd be an awesome main valve for a large cannon... Apperently it's rated for 400psi :)

I Imagine if you remove the control valve (smaller diaphragm valve) you may be able to pilot it through it's pilot valve as a diaphragm valve with a QEV pilot.
For free, it is worth checking into.

I have a few Google tricks to help the search.. :D

Find the manufactures page then search it for various product lines..
