Caulk Gun Exhaust

Instead of a small blowgun, I may have found a to use a caulk gun as the exhaust which would make a big exhaust port. The back of the plate sets against the back of the pilot valve, when you squeeze the trigger the plate moves away from the back and the air goes around the plate and out to atmo.

wont it be kind of hard to squeeze against the pressure of 80-100psi? if it was very low pressure it would probably work.

Caulk guns are made for leverage, it's too hard to get the stuff out by hand, the handle gives a huge mechanical advantage.

On one of my caulk guns, the plate fits perfectly through 1.5" PVC. On another one of them, the plate covers 1.5". This means I could get a full 1.5" exhaust out of them. Attaching it should be easy, 1.5" fits in the tray of the caulk gun, so if I hack off the end of the caulk gun, and glue 1.5" to the back of the gun, they should just snap together.

Or, instead of using a standard caulk cartridge gun, why not try a bolt gun?
